IRG-GDP Jeweler Guide

Step-by-step process: Customer registration to GDP mint proposal.

Step 1: Sign in

1. Open irg-gdp.web.app in your browser.

2. Click Sign In and enter your registered email and password.

3. You will see the Jeweler Dashboard with your minting tools.

If you forgot your password, use the 'Forgot Password' link on the sign-in page.

Step 2: Register a customer

Customers do not self-register. You (the jeweler) register them.

1. From the Dashboard, click Earmark Gold.

2. In Step 1, enter the customer's details:

  • Full name — as per government ID
  • Mobile number — 10-digit Indian mobile
  • Email address
  • Residential address
  • Aadhaar number — 12 digits (required)
  • PAN number — 10 characters (required)

3. Click Register Customer.

If the customer is already registered, enter their mobile or email — the system finds their existing account.

Step 3: Capture gold ornament details

For each ornament, enter:

  • Item type — necklace, bangle, ring, chain, etc.
  • Description — brief (e.g., "22K gold chain with pendant")
  • Gross weight (grams) — total weight including stones
  • Carat (purity) — 9 to 24 karats. System calculates 24K equivalent.
  • HUID — 6-character BIS Hallmark ID (if hallmarked)
  • Photograph — clear photo of the ornament

Click Add Ornament for each. You can add multiple in one batch.

24K-equivalent = gross weight × (carat ÷ 24). Example: 10g at 22K = 10 × 22/24 = 9.1667g pure gold.

Step 4: Submit mint proposal

1. Review the batch summary (ornament count, total weight, total 24K-equivalent).

2. Remove any ornament with errors.

3. Click Propose Mint to submit for administrator review.

The administrator (a Chartered Accountant) reviews each proposal, checks KYC and duplicate flags. You will receive email + in-app notification on approval.

Step 5: Mint GDPs (after approval)

1. Go to Approved Mints from the Dashboard.

2. Read and tick the declaration checkbox.

3. Click Mint for each ornament. The system creates GDP units on the blockchain.

4. Once all ornaments are minted, the batch status changes to 'Minted'.

GDP units appear in the customer's wallet as 'Inactive' initially, becoming 'Active' after the first sale completes through the escrow mechanism.

Important notes

Duplicate detection: The platform checks every ornament against previously minted records. Flags are advisory — they don't block proposals.

Verification: Periodic independent verifications may occur. An independent jeweler (not you) examines the ornaments. Your customer must cooperate. See Terms of Service Sections 9–11.

Your responsibility: You warrant the accuracy of your gold weight/purity assessment. Inaccurate certification may result in licence review (ToS Section 9.4).

चरण 1: साइन इन करें

1. अपने ब्राउज़र में irg-gdp.web.app खोलें।

2. Sign In पर क्लिक करें और अपना पंजीकृत ईमेल और पासवर्ड दर्ज करें।

3. साइन इन करने के बाद आपको ज्वेलर डैशबोर्ड दिखाई देगा।

यदि आप अपना पासवर्ड भूल गए हैं, तो साइन-इन पेज पर 'Forgot Password' लिंक का उपयोग करें।

चरण 2: ग्राहक पंजीकरण

ग्राहक स्वयं पंजीकरण नहीं करते। आप (ज्वेलर) उन्हें पंजीकृत करते हैं।

1. डैशबोर्ड से Earmark Gold पर क्लिक करें।

2. चरण 1 में ग्राहक का विवरण दर्ज करें:

  • पूरा नाम — सरकारी पहचान पत्र के अनुसार
  • मोबाइल नंबर — 10 अंकों का भारतीय मोबाइल
  • ईमेल पता
  • निवास का पता
  • आधार नंबर — 12 अंक (आवश्यक)
  • पैन नंबर — 10 अक्षर (आवश्यक)

3. Register Customer पर क्लिक करें।

यदि ग्राहक पहले से पंजीकृत है, तो उनका मोबाइल या ईमेल दर्ज करें — सिस्टम उनका मौजूदा खाता ढूंढ लेगा।

चरण 3: सोने के आभूषण का विवरण दर्ज करें

प्रत्येक आभूषण के लिए दर्ज करें:

  • आइटम प्रकार — हार, कंगन, अंगूठी, चेन आदि
  • विवरण — संक्षिप्त (जैसे, "22K सोने की चेन")
  • कुल वजन (ग्राम) — पत्थरों सहित कुल वजन
  • कैरेट (शुद्धता) — 9 से 24 कैरेट। सिस्टम 24K समतुल्य स्वचालित रूप से गणना करता है।
  • HUID — 6 अक्षरों का BIS हॉलमार्क नंबर (यदि हॉलमार्क है)
  • फोटोग्राफ — आभूषण की स्पष्ट तस्वीर

प्रत्येक आभूषण के बाद Add Ornament पर क्लिक करें। एक बैच में कई आभूषण जोड़ सकते हैं।

24K-समतुल्य = कुल वजन × (कैरेट ÷ 24)। उदाहरण: 22K पर 10 ग्राम = 10 × 22/24 = 9.1667 ग्राम शुद्ध सोना।

चरण 4: मिंट प्रस्ताव जमा करें

1. बैच सारांश की समीक्षा करें (आभूषण संख्या, कुल वजन, कुल 24K-समतुल्य)।

2. त्रुटि वाले किसी भी आभूषण को हटाएं।

3. प्रशासक की समीक्षा के लिए Propose Mint पर क्लिक करें।

प्रशासक (एक चार्टर्ड अकाउंटेंट) प्रत्येक प्रस्ताव की समीक्षा करते हैं। स्वीकृति पर आपको ईमेल और इन-ऐप सूचना मिलेगी।

चरण 5: GDP मिंट करें (स्वीकृति के बाद)

1. डैशबोर्ड से Approved Mints पर जाएं।

2. घोषणा चेकबॉक्स पढ़ें और टिक करें।

3. प्रत्येक आभूषण के लिए Mint पर क्लिक करें। सिस्टम ब्लॉकचेन पर GDP यूनिट बनाता है।

4. सभी आभूषणों के मिंट होने पर बैच की स्थिति 'Minted' हो जाती है।

GDP यूनिट ग्राहक के वॉलेट में पहले 'Inactive' के रूप में दिखाई देती हैं। पहली बिक्री पूरी होने के बाद वे 'Active' हो जाती हैं।

महत्वपूर्ण जानकारी

डुप्लिकेट पहचान: प्लेटफ़ॉर्म प्रत्येक आभूषण की पहले मिंट किए गए रिकॉर्ड से जांच करता है। फ्लैग सलाहकार हैं — वे प्रस्तावों को नहीं रोकते।

सत्यापन: समय-समय पर स्वतंत्र सत्यापन हो सकता है। एक स्वतंत्र ज्वेलर (आप नहीं) आभूषणों की जांच करेगा। ग्राहक को सहयोग करना होगा। विवरण के लिए सेवा की शर्तें अनुभाग 9-11 देखें।

आपकी जिम्मेदारी: आप सोने के वजन/शुद्धता के अपने आकलन की सटीकता की गारंटी देते हैं। गलत प्रमाणन से लाइसेंस समीक्षा हो सकती है (शर्तें अनुभाग 9.4)।
